you asked about the fashion pictures and if my fashion is similar. well to be honest my sister has that kind of fashion and her friends. and i got "inspired" by it, because i love it, and my sister always goes thrifting and finds amazing stuff, so i wear some of her stuff, or usually i try to dress like her style..but idk. lol.
what kind of style/fashion do you love the most and actually wear?
lol i love thrifting too, but i usually look for everyting that has some sort of nostalgia. I like vintage clothing, furniture, decor, pens… etc. I like clothes in black, pastel tone colors. In terms of style fashion that i love, i love dolce&gabbanna, gucci, valentino, karl lagerfeld, but i also like a lot experimental fashion like alexander mcqueen designs.
Reading through a blog I came across the news that “Cesar Arellano, the original street-fashion-party photoblogger in Mexico City, has died. Cesar was a crucial founding component of the scene. He was hard-working, generous, and supported emerging talents and faces on his website,Diario de Fiestas.”
He had a great documentation of Mexico City’s style here are just a sample of his images:
Wow! I posted a Gucci photo earlier today or yesterday, here’s more now thanks to aphroditezoe. The colors in this collections are just stunning! so beautiful and so attractive. The metallic finish in those materials are by far the best that i’ve seen so far this year. [fashion daily]
This collection by Gianfranco Ferre I think it has really nice pieces, even though his primary color palette is grays, whites, and blacks, his designs have very nice details with clean cuts and practical designs. This collection makes the women feel sexy and still look great without having to reveal a lot of skin. Some of the designs accentuate the soft form of the body.
The collection of a great master: Alexander McQueen!, I think this is one of the best collections in fashion design, it is both elegant and avant-garde with great use of different materials, textures, and colors. just wonderful! [fashion daily]
In today’s Guardian, I read about the unveiling of the 19-year career of Alexander McQueen’s exhibition, entitled Savage Beauty, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. A preview of the show, which will run 4 May to 31 July…
